مقامات هو برنامج أفلام قصيرة شهرى من قبلة فى الصحراء. استوحينا اسم البرنامج من المقامات وهى شكل أدبى قديم يتميز بقِصَر المدة، وتواتر نفس الشخصيات فى أزمنة وأماكن مختلفة، فى أسلوب يشبه الفيلم القصير

Maqamāt is a monthly short film programme curated by A Kiss in the Desert. The program’s name is inspired by the Maqāmah, a concise medieval literary format with recurring characters adapting different roles in each Maqamāh, in a manner similar to that of a short film.
The programme was screened on 20/05/26, at Zaywa.

يتجمع الناس حول بئر على تخوم الصحراء الجنوبية. قضى جفاف قاسٍ على أكثر المواشى. مسبقًا، عُرفت القرية الأقرب للبئر بأكواخها القش التى ترى فى المدى. فُككت هذه الأكواخ لتصير طعامَ ما تبقى من الماشية
People congregate at a well on the southern edge of the desert. In a brutal drought, the vast majority of livestock have died. The nearest village used to be spotted with grass huts along the horizon, but these have been taken apart to feed cattle.
